“Eṇijaṅghaṁ kisaṁ vīraṁ,
“O hero so lean, with antelope calves,

appāhāraṁ alolupaṁ;
not greedy, eating little,

Sīhaṁvekacaraṁ nāgaṁ,
a giant, wandering alone like a lion,

kāmesu anapekkhinaṁ;
you’re not concerned for sensual pleasures.

Upasaṅkamma pucchāma,
We’ve come to ask a question:

kathaṁ dukkhā pamuccatī”ti.
How is one released from all suffering?”
