“What’s good because it never gets old?

kiṁsu sādhu adhiṭṭhitaṁ;
What’s good when committed?

Kiṁsu narānaṁ ratanaṁ,
What is people’s treasure?

kiṁsu corehyahāriyan”ti.
What can thieves never take?”

“Sīlaṁ ajarasā sādhu,
“Ethics are good because they never grow old.

saddhā sādhu adhiṭṭhitā;
Faith is good when committed.

Paññā narānaṁ ratanaṁ,
Wisdom is people’s treasure.

puññaṁ corehyahāriyan”ti.
