“Satta vo, bhikkhave, bojjhaṅge desessāmi;

“Mendicants, I will teach you the seven awakening factors.

Katame ca, bhikkhave, satta bojjhaṅgā?

And what are the seven awakening factors?

Satisambojjhaṅgo …pe… upekkhāsambojjhaṅgo—

The awakening factors of mindfulness, investigation of principles, energy, rapture, tranquility, immersion, and equanimity.

ime kho, bhikkhave, satta bojjhaṅgā”ti.

These are the seven awakening factors.”
