then one kills others.

Suhataṁ hanti attānaṁ,
One kills oneself, really dead,

like one who kills birds using a dead bird as a decoy.

Na brāhmaṇo bahivaṇṇo,
A brahmin’s color is not on the outside;

anto vaṇṇo hi brāhmaṇo;

Yasmiṁ pāpāni kammāni,
