“Pañca nīvaraṇe hitvā,

I gave up the five hindrances

yogakkhemassa pattiyā;

for the sake of sanctuary from the yoke.

Dhammādāsaṁ gahetvāna,

I took Dhamma as a mirror

ñāṇadassanamattano.

for knowing and seeing myself.
