“Api ce hoti tevijjo,

Even a master of the three knowledges,

maccuhāyī anāsavo;

undefiled, conqueror of death,

Appaññātoti naṁ bālā,

is looked down upon for being unknown

avajānanti ajānatā.

by ignorant fools.
