“Vassati devo yathā sugītaṁ,

The heavens rain like a sweet song;

Channā me kuṭikā sukhā nivātā;

my hut is roofed and pleasant, sheltered from the wind;

Tassaṁ viharāmi vūpasanto,

I meditate there, peaceful:

Atha ce patthayasī pavassa deva.

so rain forth, heavens, if you wish.
